On this day, a day of glorious awakenings for the Mexican people .......a baby boy was born between two dumpsters in the deepest part of mehico with the world against him and his future in front of him .........a boy unlike any other that has walked the face of this earth ........ladies & gentlemen, Ponch has arrived.  Ponch spent his first years learning all he could just to survive the streets of Mexico.   He sold his body for pesos and jerky until he met a man named Troy.    Troy told Ponch he was the owner of various websites and promised Ponch a better life.   Troy told Ponch that many American men would be willing to pay lots of money for a young boy like him and love him like, like, well, like family if you know what I mean.
Ponch agreed and Troy made the purchase of one 9 year old boy named Ponch for moparmanjim.  Ponch was fed and clothed and even had a magic couch to sleep on but it was not the fairy tale American dream he envisioned.
This would later prove to be a bad mistake as bad things happened to Ponch for the next 6 years ......
Anywho, let's not talk about that for now ......moving on....
Ponch got away from mmj by selling 4 ducks for bus money to Los Angeles to pursue his dreams of becoming a successful professional landscaper.   .......more later
Happy birthday Ponch.

Ponch made it to L A with empty pockets but a heart full of dreams. He worked odd jobs selling fruit and vegetables on the side of the road every afternoon while attending school during the day.  By the age of 19, Ponch graduated 6th grade at the top of his class.  He was no slacker.  He started making Mexican movies which paid well and got him close to the ladies.  Field of dreams was one of his best films.  NO, not the Kevin Costner movie. This was a bit different.  It's about a boy paying the ultimate price just to get some farmland for him and his one legged brother.
The last film he worked on never was completed.  Fried Green Tomatoes started good, but when it came to frying the tomatoes Ponch was screwed.  You see, he could pick them but never knew how to cook them.   Filming was canceled.
The good thing about his acting career was it gave him enough money to start his business.  So in the spring of 97 Ponch finally had his landscaping company.  He was very well respected and made lots of money.  I heard he went to the gas station one time, bought a full tank of gas, 3 candy bars, 2 hot dogs, sunglasses and a package of Trojans.   When they rang him up he just smiled and paid IN CASH the full amount.   Yes, life was pretty good for Ponch although tragedy was just around the corner........

I can't sing so I'm not singing Happy Birthday to Ponch.   ::)

But I did try to get a few others to sing.   :2thumbs:

Without any success, though.   :rotz:

I asked the paperboy who delivers the L.A. Times to sing it when he delivers, but he refused.   :shruggy:

I asked his favorite celebrity, Rhianna & she refused.   :shruggy:

I asked the zoo keeper if he could get one of the smart primates to do it & it refused.   :shruggy:

I asked the old woman at the Bingo Hall & she refused, but she was willing to bake you a cake.

You should just be happy with the cake.
