Are they size 10 screws? I'm ordering tamper proof screws but need size and length for correct fit.  :scratchchin:

Ghoste

About an inch long and yeah, about a 10 course thread.

b5blue

Thanks, I can get 1/2, 3/4 or 1 inch long but really would like just the right length.  :scratchchin:

If you're talking about the three screws that connect gas cap and filler tube, this is what you want:

If you're going with philips then get then 3/4" long

Yea Dino that's the ones. I can buy 100 of them for 31.50. Sockets are 7.50.  :2thumbs: I just need the correct size.

According to my information they are #10 x .75". Here's a source for them: http://www.alleghenybolt.com/tampruf.html

Thanks!  :2thumbs: When I replace my gas cap and trim ring I want to keep them!

That's a pretty good deal then!  If you're ordering a truck load I'll take a set, I have rusty phillips screws in mine.  At one point I 'may' buy a new gas cap and trim ring.  Mine are in good driver condition but if and when I repaint the car I would like a better one on there.  I'm guessing the screws and socket do not come with a new gas cap though.

I'll be posting for you guys prior to ordering to make a list of those who want some!  :2thumbs:

I just checked and it's 7.50 per socket for #10's. Shipping is by the order total @ 6.50 up to 49.99 and 10.95 for 50.00 to 100.00. (MOL) I could offer 6 screws and a driver socket for 12.00 shipped I guess?  :shruggy:  I'd need to know how many sockets prior to ordering to cut shipping to me down.

I'm in for the screws and sockets.  If you take paypal then make sure you add the percentage paypal takes so you actually get $12 or however much it turns out to be.

Sounds good to me blue.  Don't know about the rest but I'm sure my phillips screws will last a while longer.

Actually, I think they are longer than 3/4" and shorter than 1" so, maybe 7/8" is right.

VegasCharger

I'm definately in and in NO hurry.

Thanks Blue, I think you hit a home run here!
