I found this today and thought I would share.  I apologize if this has been posted before, but I did not find it.

I have never seen such great video of the F-15 before.  Pictures are at the top of the article, video at the bottom.

Very cool to put video on "Full Screen".  :2thumbs:

For those of you who do this for a living (Troy), you guys have sweet a$$ jobs.

I live just a few miles from Luke air base in Phoenix. Every other year they do an air show at the base. Watching them take off from the runway and go straight up till they get very small is a sight to see.

That's incredible, those F-15's are something like 30 year old technology and still dominate the sky.

Do they still have some based in Germany?  They used to have them in those individual concrete bomb shelters that opened straight onto a runway.  Pilots on call at all times, just light the fire and moments later combat ready at altitude.

I do miss our former F-16's....... This video brings back a lot of cool memories when I was able, thanks to a NCO of the Quarter win, go up in a F-16 and fly it myself.  :D

The F-15 is an old airplane by todays military standards.
I remember them just coming online, when i was stationed in Germany 1974-76 when i was a flight line, aircraft mechanic, crew chief, on the RF-4C Phantoms.
Talk about old aircraft.
There are a handfull of countries that still fly the F-4 on a full time basis.
50 + years and still going strong.

Cool videos. Both of them. I'd give my left nut to be able to fly one of those.  :yesnod:
