From here on, all of the cars that I build for myself will have modern power. You can buy a 6.4 liter 392 for half of what a 426 hemi costs. Starts great, runs smooth and doesn't foul plugs all of the time. And, they run great on 91 octane.
I still want to build a Daytona clone with modern power.

I would think Hemi Daytona clones are even rarer than real Hemi ones, no?

Daytona's and Superbirds are Expensive to build. Even MORE expensive to clone Correctly. We've all seen the RoadRunner rear window, No fender scooped, No winshield side chrome mouldings, etc. Superbird with the wing and nosecone and that's it. To the avergae car stupid public, it IS a Daytona/Superbird, but only the Real Mopar people spot a clone.

Hemi's in these only add to the money. Gotta have money to build a Mopar... Gotta have Big money to build a mopar Wing car...Gotta have STUPID money to build a Hemi Clone of a Wing Car....Gotta be straight up Rich to buy an original Hemi wing car.

Around Montreal, we have a clone built from a 70 Charger,





another built from C500 tags and VIN,

well if we have now added Real daytona that now have Hemis in them or had

  we can add waynes A-4 silver car  Hemi now

  and Joann's A-4 car  ran a hemi for quite a few years   now back to 440

Original or not a silver Daytona with a Hemi in it is about perfect in my books!
