I saw this today and think it's a joke.  The guy claims $10k is a steal for this car....  needs paint, interior, wiring and some other stuff.   What a joke.  He claims this car is a $45,000 dollar car.    :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol:     :hah: :hah:

Sorry if it's a members car but come on man..... No low ballers, 10k firm....  I'm guessing that's a $3,500 - $4,000 car.    :scratchchin:  New motor new tranny,  ok, maybe $5,500 or so.  Complete restored about $18-20k.

Actually I like that he put $10k firm on it. It saves you making a phone call hoping to get it for a reasonable price.

I know.  Since when did a 73 Charger become more valuable than a 68,69 or 70 Charger?   What a joke.  I'm not a fortune teller but anybody want to bet this car will still be for sale for awhile?     :smilielol:

I would feel very bad for this person...I know theres another 3rd gen charger here in phoenix the guys is trying to sell so bad, but wont let his claws go lower in price, but is in desperate need of money really bad.....in fact he is going to court over some financial issues, but if he sold that charger to me all those issues will be wiped away at a specific price, but those claws........

Yeah, but this is one of those RARE 73 1/2 Chargers, you know, the ones that are longer and wider than a "regular" Charger?

No offense to third Gen Charger owners, but these things are a sad Offering after the 2nd gens. HUGE bumpers. This is a perfect example of Just because it's an older car, doesn't mean it's worth a fortune. PLENTY of old cars out there and no matter how "Antique" they get, they will always be worth diddly. Sorta like the VERY RARE 1977 Chevy Nova 4dr with optional smoking inline 250 6 Cyl.

Or the illusive 1982 Chevy Chevette.

He's down to $7500 Firm and no lower offer. Just think, It's the 73 1/2 that is longer and wider than the rest! Don't believe me? Just ask him!  :nutkick:

QuoteFIRST COME, FIRST SERVED THANK YOU FOR LOOKING. $7500 FIRM NO LOWER OFFER!! The bumpers are out to chrome and will be back Friday along with the radiator just overhauled. $7500 is a steal for this car it is almost done. THIS WAS THE 73 1/2 SPECIAL EDITION IT COMES WITH THE 400 CU IN MOTOR WHICH WAS A RARE COMBINATION WITH THE 727 TRANSMISSION. THERE WERE A TOTAL OF 264875 CHARGERS BUILT AND THIS ONE IS THE 164875th Vehicle MADE. OF WHICH ONLY A FEW 1973 1/2'S WERE BUILT. THEY WERE LONGER AND WIDER THAN THE REST.

The 2nd gen is BEST PERIOD it combined both the first and 3rd charactristics it was almost like they changed the 3rd thinking they are 'improving' upon it, but that was not the case.

Everyone who has reviewed the generations of chargers will say the same 2nd gen will always be the best body style over all others.
