apprasials are like 'arses'....anyways a forum member had a 'cup' appraised by one of those guys and it was valued at 50k, but no one would buy it for 50 cents????  :shruggy:

apprasial told him it would sell fast, but its been 5 years now....

I should add.. I'm envisioning your car (when completed) to be very simular to this members car.  (other than the 4psd, BB, and black interior)

Not sure if this will help you to determine what your car is worth, however I just had an appraisal done on my car that came in at $19,000.00. Everyone I have shared that with has stated they think that is low by about $6000.00 given the level of the restoration that was done on my car. As pointed out by several members there are lots of factors to consider when determining actual value. It really comes down to what it is worth to you and if you can recover some of its value in the unlikely event something unforeseen should happen.

I knew it would cost me to restore it and have about 28,000.00 in receipts not including my time. I am enjoying it as much now as I did during the build.  Good luck with yours.

My Daytona clone is appraised at 75k, I used that for insurance.  If any one offered 75k I would no longer be the owner :icon_smile_big:

Agreed, I don't think 19,000. for mine is unreasonable and it is just for insurance purposes after all. My mopar friends agree that mine is worth more. But again, worth and what it would fetch are two different things.

Just offering an opinion for a fairly similar car on what he might get close to once his 340 is ready to sell.  These cars were not the must haves for many a charger lover. Done right, it will appeal to someone who once had one and wants one again. I for one would pay a reasonable price if I was in that position. After all. What can you but for $20 G that there are not thousands of on the road today.

I don't blame you my friend and I think you got a fantastic buy on that one. It was hard seeing that car transform from what it was to where it ended up, and then be gone, lol. Oh. did I tell you that the check was in the mail, lol.......
