70 lower dash pieces transplanted into 68-69?

Has anyone seen or done this? Is it even doable? I'm not going to do it but if there's one thing to envy on a '70 it's those hard plastic lower dash pieces. Of course I'd probably recant that statement if there were any nice 68 reproductions out there. Anyway, just wondering if/how it would work and if anyone's got pics of one.

Ignition switch went to the column for '70.  :yesnod:
Try finding '70 dash pieces that aren't dry rotted from the sun. Or, textured plastic that isn't all gouged up. And, one year only. :brickwall:
