I tend to agree with you Bert, it doesn't sound promising right now.

I have seen guys make one out of a model kit but they just don't look right. I don't thinkyou can find the right wheels for it. my charger had 15s on the rear & 14s on the front. I cannot remember the tire sizes after 30 plus years :o  i remember the rear tires being huge though tall & wide.

one of the diecast Chargers i have has been modified in the past and now has Starsky and Hutch Torino wheels on it, so  i think i will make that into a DMCL Charger !!   :icon_smile_big:

Dino, great dioramas you have there, very original. I like the half dukes charger. Ghoste, the DMCL charger is still on hold due to licensing. I have a feeling we won't be seeing this charger anytime soon.

Not Mine, they're Tooz 72's.  I wish I did them though!
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Ghoste

Actually Warner is saying that they never had any intention of removing the flag and that was internet myth.

Tooz 72

I think Crazy Cooter helped put a stop to that idea !!

Ghoste

Yeah, I think there was something to it too, they're just trying to backpedal and since they never had a formal announcement or put it in print anywhere they can still look good.  But then again, opinions like this are exactly how internet myth gets started aren't they?

i sure hope it ain't true.  The darn lawyers need to stay out of the hobby unless they are willing to put more of our cars on the road.  Civil war is over, but we can still show respect to both sides.

TheGhost

Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

That is still up in the air.  Some say they are going to remove it, others say it's going to stay.

Brock Lee

I would love to own that 71 car replica.

Interestingly, their poll 'Should the flag be removed from General Lee?', 9% yes, 91% no.

Years ago I used to have a big hot wheels collection. AS for diecast now, I basically got rid of everything except my green 1969 Charger redline and my 1968 deora
