Ran across this ad on craigslist and wanted to pass it along. I think it would be a great time if we could put this together...

"Im wondering if any guys out there who have heard of the Pure Stock Muscle Drags in Michigan would like to start something here either at Union Grove or Kaukauna? But instead of the strict rules they run maybe we can do our as a Day Two Muscle Car. Which is a car that is pretty much stock except for the upgrades of a better carb,intake,headers and exhaust. Maybe have a limit of 450 horses to the motor? anybody interested? maybe we can discuss different rules? I have a 400 horse 1969 chevelle ss 396 i would like to drag race thats close to stock build but with the upgrades ive listed. So anyone interested please get back to me and we can start making the rules up and getting a list of cars....then either find a day or two next year to rent the track and run. Maybe do both tracks? im open for all discussion!! "

That would be fun.  I'm in Michigan but would rather do this with some members here.  Heck with all the long farm roads we have here I'm surprised these guys take the effort to go to a real track.

Pure stock has gone way out of my budget with what these guys are doing to these cars these days. I am also in Michigan. I would be in for something like this.
