I recently picked up a volume on the history of Chrysler engines from 1922-1998.  Just titled Chrysler Engines, it was written by Willem Weertman who was in charge of engines at Mopar for a significant period of time.  Not too light and not too heavy it makes for a great overview of some great engines for anyone else who is into this kind of thing.  :2thumbs:

You are right, tons of engines.  He even gives a quick overview on the gas turbines.

Yeah, not cheap.  It's an SAE publication and with the auto industry in the toilet right now I suppose they have to make money somewhere.
