that car sold on ebay  1 yr ago for $3000, it was sold again from nj for around $4000. i don't know why it's back on ebay. the guy says he has a $4500 reserve. i think thats to much for that car. that car needs everything and looks very rusty to me. Rene

I'm in N. Jersey, but I can say that the Mopar Car-B-Que is worth the ride. Great cars and atmosphere. I don't want to offend anyone, but the band last year? :o Let's just say the DJ the year before kept me begging for more, which is rare at any car show for most of us.  :icon_smile_big:

Tom, you and your staff run a great show. This is a must event if you're in the Jersey, NY and Philly area.  Whoever got the Sun Kissed 'Cuda owner to show up gets a sentimental  :2thumbs: from me. I haven't seen that car in years.

69 Charger man i might be moving down to barnegat we should try to meet at a show what kind of charger do you have. For the guys who saw the 70 charger on ebay from jersey what do you think of it is it worth it and whats the most you would pay for it? I could not agree more with burnt70R/T the mopar car b-q is awesome.

tomdroptop

Wow it's a Jerzey thread. Guys are coming outa the woodworks..
OK
70 Burnt, good to hear from you again! Been pokin round on the registry site now & again. As for the compliments on the "Q"
thanks guy. It's a passion I have & love to do & it does seem to get better each year. The guys (my friends) are a great help & it couldnt be that big, good, organized without them!.....btw I dont think the band will be there this year , It was a friends band and they did it for free. The DJ is the best & we'll make sure he comes again. We'll have the dyno there this year also!

69 Charger Man, Brick isnt all that far from me. You closer to MoparJohn though, he's a Jersey guy. I'm closer to Philly. You've been to the "Q" right?

Moparjohn, LOL the "other site" thats great. I actually didnt know a site like this even existed & if you told me b4 then shame on me for not listening! (John is one of the "Q Crew" that helps the show go as well oiled as it does! Thanx buddy & good to see you in here!

BigBlockSam, don't know if you were askin me what exit or what exit the show was or maybe it wasnt direc ted to me at all but anyhow. I would be exit 4 off the NJ t-pike & so would the Car-B-Que. Heck with all these charger owners so close we should have a mini Charger gathering. Any takers?

DD, I dunno if you wanted to know what year I have but I own a 1970 R/T & a 69 w/70 front clip. Sold my 68 (Dennis car from Christine charger look alike) a few years or so ago.

BigBlockSam

it's an old uncle Floyd joke. when you meet someone new from jersey you ask what exit you live by. i'm off exit 16. Rene

I tend to get caught up pretty deep in the "Q" & it tends to take up alot of time but so so worth it! :yesnod:

I used to live in NJ, but it's too crowded & too expensive where I was in Bergen County to buy a house. A lot of close friends & family have moved out of the area too, so it seems Englishtown & a visit to see my mother is about the only time I get there these days. Well, the Jersey shore is another reason now that my daughter is getting older & loves the beaches & the boardwalks. I'm going to push to get to the Car-B-Que this year. I was trying to make plans last year, but something came up.

I've met a few people from this site & the Moparts site in NJ, & probably will meet more this year. The '70 Road Runner I bought last summer came from Steve, (69sixV2bee on Moparts) near Atlantic City. I'll actually be in Atlantic City again on March 11th & 12th to see Nine Inch Nails at the House of Blues. Nothing like a small club to see a band in.

I recently saw 2 Chargers in NJ, one was a 66/67 on a flatbed on I-287, & the other was on a trailer getting onto Rte. 17 S. in Mahwah off the NYS Thruway. That one was a 69 that was yellowish green, with a funky side stripe in black similar to a Starsky & Hutch stripe, but it didn't go over the roof. I know I've seen that one on the the internet, & maybe even here.

You're Dave, correct? Steve told me about the Charger & showed me some photos when & was there to see the Road Runner the first time. I forget his name, but the car was at Steve's friend's house near Point Pleasant. Is that Pat's house? There were a few people there that day working on various vehicles. I think Steve's got the same problem I have changing projects & not finishing them.  :icon_smile_big:
