Those wheels look right for your car Ponch.  Most new cars wheels are bigger but they are part of the styling like was said.   What I call ghetto is an 1985 caprice with 24's.  We've got a few members here that have 18's or 20's on their old chargers and I think they look good.   I think it depends on the wheel.

Hmm. This thread is about 12% 'Cuda build, 87% big wheel vs. little wheel, and 1% WTF.

Let's try to skew that back toward the 'Cuda build...

If it means anything, I like #1 as well. I would like more details, and of course pictures when they happen.

I'd argue though that the newer cars were styled with larger diameter wheels in mind.  And you are right, they aren't ghetto, they are more retro but thats a good thing.  :icon_smile_big:

:iagree: That's exactly right.  :Twocents:

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

How many cars does Kenny have now?  The GL, the Duster, a 3rd gen(?) what else?  If you see this Kenny, do you keep them all or let them go as each new project comes?

about wheels deal... I love stock 15", however I still like 17"s but as MAX SIZE, keeping some room for rubber. More than that and I would say you, put in on a railroad. Also with room for Rubber will allow us to still find white letters tires on that size, to make it look even more classy.

Then if 17" on a Muscle car, go with classy/vintage style, and will be less shocking. You have to see your car as a one unit, not as a car with wheels or wheels with a car on them

There is one detail, about stock and big wheels decision, and is IT LOOKS the 15" tires variety is going down day after day, so market is MAKING US to switch even we don't want to change from 15" ( Look at tirerack website for example, and will note allmost to NONE 15" tires options ).

Now, about the Cuda itself... Hard to say. Id like to keep the "stockish" look and paint scheeme like number one, But I LIKE A LOT the number 2 variation of number one, making to "WAKE UP" the stripe on quarter

No Todd, that's hillbilly.    :nana:   I didn't like them at first on muscle cars until I saw more and more.  Then it grows on you I guess.   Anyway, I'm curious about what you do with your cars to KW.  Are they just a collection of toys like your hobby or do you run them at the track?
