Here are some more pics I found of the vehicles for the new Mad Max Fury Road movies coming out next year I had posted in the Charger only about a 73-74 Charger but I felt since these are not Chargers I would post them here!

There is some creativity there for sure. I love the caddy
I'm smarter than I act, But I don't act smarter than I am.

Indygenerallee

I love the Turbo Supercharged motor!! The Caddy is the coolest vehicle I have seen as they sectioned the bottom one and made it wider for the top one to rest on and the dual machine guns on the upper fins are a nice touch as well!!

They certainly have the Mad Max look.

One of the local boys in my town i grew up with is working on the cars. Pictures are top secret not many getting around there is a least one valiant charger in the new movie.

'OP thanks for posting the pictures.  In my humble opinion though the cars look "too" customized.  In a post apocalyptic world there wouldn't be the means or even the technique to build vehicles such as those. Take a look at the original 'Max movies-those were cars that weren't too far from factory stock save for the weathering and damaged, graffiti infested bodies.  Sure, there were some custom jobs but for the most part the vehicles were just nuclear war survivors.  The cars we're looking at here look like Monster Truck Jam contestants.  Again we have Hollyweird concentrating on the boom & flash aspect of the movie, the vehicles and whatnot, when what's supposed to be drawing people to this movie is the story about humans on the verge of extinction and the erosion of humanity.

Anyway, what is Max driving this time around?  I bet it's the same Mustang from the new Death Race movie...

Indygenerallee

Myk, you need to go back and watch the Road Warrior, the vehicles were custom all the way in that movie, most had roofs hacked off and totally different front ends welded on to other make cars, Heck Mad Max's Black 73 Falcon XB GT "Interceptor" had a custom front end, dual spoilers, Weiand Supercharger, crazy sidepipes.  There were several built and blown dune buggies. The director is the same director from the original movies, All these vehicles are in the same exact vein as the original built vehicles in the Road Warrior,
and Mad Max is to be driving the 73 Falcon XB GT "Interceptor" as this movie is suppose to take place in the same time frame or shortly before the "Road Warrior" No Mustang was ever used in any Mad Max movie.

I believe there's at least 2 Valiant Chargers in the new movie.....

Gotta love a '69

Ghoste

Were there any Valiant Chargers in the original(s)?

Here a couple pics of the 1973 Falcon XB GT the same car that was turned into the "Interceptor" The red one is actor Eric Bana's race car very cool car there is a documentary on it,  You can see how much they modified cars for the movie as they are almost unrecognizable from the production versions.

Doctor, That's a great looking 73 you have!! For some reason I have always liked the Aussie Chargers and although im really not a Ford guy I would love to have a 73-76 Falcon/Fairmont to turn into a Mad Max Interceptor, I had a lead on a 75 Falcon that a guy had in Georgia super clean car but it had no title!! He wanted $15,000 and it did not have a drivetrain but the no title scared me as I figured getting a title from a Australian made Ford would probably not end in my favor!!! Last I checked nice Falcon XB's were going for $25,000-$35,000

Thanks, but actually you mean the Charger I had. Just sold it a couple of weeks ago.
Yeah the Falcons are getting a bit thin on the ground now over here.
If they havent already been restored, then they're usually rusting away somewhere.
The coupes were, and are still very popular here, especially for the "40 somethings" who grew up with them in the '70s and couldn't necessarily afford them back in the day.
I'd say if that one in GA was still available, you should be looking into whether you could get a title, then maybe make him an offer....  No big deal finding a 302 or 351 over there I wouldn't think.

Yes, that was 10 years ago so I am sure it's long gone if I could have went back I would have bought it but at the time the title scared me off good!
