Gidday people, I organised a Mopar Run last weekend, pretty much a few emails and phone calls and a thread on a Mopar forum over here and had 51 cars turn up to the meet point, pretty cool. I guess the best weather had a lot to do with it as this winter has been long and wet, had 6 Chargers there  :2thumbs: and a real E49 and an E37 Aussie Charger Legends

I did 130 miles and the Big Black Dodge just ran like a train, it is the longest drive I've done in it since I've got it on the road, the place is rural with a cafe , art gallery and train rides for the kids so there is other stuff for the punters to do while the guys stand around a talk cars.

Top day out with the good Car Folk

The 57 DeSoto is a Hemi car and the 57 Fury would have to be one of the best on the planet, runs dual quads and cutouts, sounds great through the tunnel

Great turn out and all it takes is a bit of nice weather.  :2thumbs:
We've had the same cold, wet winter here too, not as many chances to take the charger out as I'd like but Spring's here now and the weather glorious so there'll be nothing stopping me now. Took advantage of today's sunshine for a super long cruise around the country side.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

STIG

Took this photo today at Meremere. The only General Lee on the North Island I believe!

Yep, Nicks car, a beaudy too, just put a 4 speed and stroker into it close on 500/500 combo, real nice guy and the car is real nice up close  :drool5:
Actually, I think there's 2 running and 1 project in N.I., nothing wrong with that though, its a big place

Excellent day at the drags too, most enjoyable   :2thumbs:

And a mate brought around his 68 Dart , just got it legal  :coolgleamA:

Sweet! Yeah, Nick's car looks real nice :) Just started talking to him on Facebook too. I'm not sure about the other owners, but I've got a crap load of memorabilia and have seen every episode of the Duke boys, so this was going to happen anyway!

We'll get a quote for an entire interior kit (saddle-tan) from Legendary Autos + all the General Lee goodies from Smith Bros... just need to get the inspection done in the next day or two first  :icon_smile_big:
