American Racing claims they are only 17 lbs for the 15x8 and 21 lbs for the 15x10. The Magnum 500 from Specialty Wheel is 31 lbs for the 15x8, not sure on the 15x10.

I believe the YO version in those sizes comes in a little heavier.

They aren't heavy. These are two piece aluminum. Less than 20 lbs.

Not as expensive as the billet ones from Wheel Vintiques (about 400 each), but not cheap either. 15s are about 250 each IIRC. 17s are about 325.

They ship free, which saves $40.00 per wheel, center caps are included, saves $36.00 per wheel. That's a savings of over $300.00 for a set compared to Specialty Wheel with the group buy. Also, they're ten pounds lighter then steel wheels, that's forty pounds difference.

At Year One:

$700 for a set of 4 17" magnum rims is pretty damn good.  Funny enough if you want center caps and lug nuts you'll have to add $300 to that.  Weird...

Too bad the 30% code doesn't work on these.

So where's the 15" wheels?  I don't see them.

Shop around on both the AR 500s and the chrome magnums.

Ebay has $270 each (delivered) on the 15-inch AR500s.

15-inch Wheel Vintique magnums are $150 each. Caps additional. Reproductions are $120 for a set.

So that's $360 more for the AR500s by my calculations.

Can't really compare to the 17" magnums to 15 inchers without factoring in tires. The 17" AR500s are about $400 each though. Ouch. That's right up there with the Billet Vintiques.

I found the AR500's for $188 each with centers included and free shipping, not bad.  The Wheel Vintiques are $140/ea without centers or free shipping at Summit.  Both prices are for 15x8.

I have been holding off on buying new wheels, as the 15x8's were back-ordered when I talked to Specialty and I have been hesitant about Vintiques due to a couple negative reviews here.  It's not like a big old Charger is a road race car, so I am not worried about the extra unsprung weight of the chrome magnums and the AR's probably aren't worth the premium to me.  Thanks for straightening out my erroneous info.
