indicators not working when headlights on

Reading thru other threads i can see that it could possibly have something to do with grounding....indicators,taillights,flasher and hood indicators all work but as soon as i turn on park/headlights they stop dead in their tracks???

what grounding points am i looking for to test?? i did notice that when i went from park to full headlights they did flick on so maybe faulty switch??? The dimmer switch has been disconnected behind the dash and the power looped back thru the socket i tried plugging it back in but then i dont have any dash lights...

the sockets need to ground to the light housing & into the body , you have bad grounds
