I think the company switched makers a couple times in the past 2/3 yrs so i can vouch for quality but i have read good things in the past on there use in 500+hp engines for long period of time without problems.I used a Chenoweth girdle on my 440 making 7/800hp with a factory block for over 300 passes. What hp are you making, planning to make?

What he said.

Whats your HP goals? Also if going with different caps, be prepared to spend some cash on machine work as well as the cost of the caps.

Not sure on HP. Will be a 493 stroker with Eddy alum heads and a Dyers 8-71 at 5-6lbs boost.
Was considering using the girdle also.

440 Source has the alum main caps with the girdle as a kit. What do you all think about their products? Or would you purchase from another vendor?

The girdle with the main cap upgrade is an excellent choice. The only thing better would be an aftermarket block.  :yesnod:

My Buddy Kevin uses the BCR caps/girdle in his supercharged 446 and it makes excellent power and has held together just fine.  :2thumbs:
