73/74 charger remote mirrors

i purchased 74 charger remote mirrors less than a year ago and they are pitting - i purchase them from P&G - why would they pitt already - the original ones did even pit as bad.  is it the process they used??  should i send them back - i am alittle pissed at this time especially spending almost $400 dollars.

I would send them back. What kind of crap are they selling? We have to let them know we won't accept poor quality parts.
