Would you put one of these in your car?

Have a 2011 Charger with a 3.6.  Gets awesome gas mileage but could always use a little more.  The extra power boost wouldn't hurt either.  There aren't many performance chips available for this engine so I wondered if anyone has heard of GForce.

Would you trust it?

I have heard of the company but I don't really know anything about their reputation.  As far as a chip, there are some people who swear by them and there are others who say that because no one has cracked Chrysler's timing and fuel map logarithms yet, any chip you buy is a compromise one at best that will improve performance but at the expense of some other aspect of drivability.   :shruggy:

Wow, just read awful reviews for the past 15 minutes.  Sounds like a real piece of crap.

I don't know much about "performance chips".  Could be a bunch of wizardry for all I know.  If anyone has had a truly positive experience with anything similar, let me know.

NO... Wait and see if Diablosport (or call) and see if they will be coming out with a tune for the 11 Charger with the 3.6 for the Trinity tuner (I bought mine for $500.00) The thing is a badass tool, has about every function available including 0-60, 0-100, 1/4, and 1/8 mile times, can download and data log to a laptop and change fuel trims, I have mine on my 2008 Crown Vic P71 and I could tell a change on the 92 Octane setting improved shifts, even better MPG with more HP, Barks into 2nd now!!
Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.

The Ford and GM maps aren't a secret though.

Just another reason I have a carb that I can screw with litterally.

I drag race my 2005 Hemi Magnum R/T. I bought a Diablo sport Predator tuner for it. I was running 14.6 1/4 miles with it. With running the 91 octane tune and adjusting some of the perimeters, its running 13.9s now. It also has a 87 octane fuel MPG booster tune I run usually when I'm not racing that seems to work good. The tuner cost me $200 used and unlocked. I can also check engine codes with it too.

Hand held tuners are one thing, but those chips are nothing but rip-offs, as far as I'm concerned.  I've never heard of anyone having a positive experience with them, and returning the chip is usually a hassle that results in a fee of some sort that makes the price you paid for it not so much a bargain after all.  A friend bought something similar for his Acura TL and he didn't notice anything different about the car...

and when you try to buy it they wait till they have all your info to pick an engine size, seems like that would be one of the 1st things they would need to know....................

Cody, do you have any reports on how it affected other parts of the operating conditions when it's set for race?
