Bora Bora, Anybody been there?

I'm going to find my way there sooner or later. 

The water really is that blue!  Yes it was very expensive and a once in a lifetime trip.  There are down sides . . . 16 hours to get there . . . food was terrible, drinks were 20 dollars each . . . . language barrier sucked as I don't speak french very well . . . .

You're right about once in a lifetime trip.  I don't care about the food.   I could eat a cheese sandwich on the beach and be happy.  Far as the language goes, I don't plan on talking to anybody.  Oh, as for $20 drinks, I plan on dancing for my drinks.        
   I figure about a week there will be enough.  Then again, I just might want to stay and never be seen again.

The cheese sandwich will run you at least 20 bucks . . . or 2000 franks . . .   And at 20 dollar a drink, I wasn't surprise to see all the bars were pretty much empty.  We went to the main land and went shopping at the store for booze.  Certainly saved us a good $1000 as . . . we like to drink.

This is the place were we had the best food . . . if you ever go, need to visit Bloody Mary's!

Thanks for the pictures 4cruzin.       How long was your stay there?  That's the most beautiful blue water a person could ever see.  I'm guessing the average depth is around 6-10 feet deep?      Thanks again for the pics.     Feel free to share some more.
