Hot water pressure washer

My newest garage acquisition.
Found this on craigslist a few days ago for 170 bucks.
It's a Clarke Delco hot water unit that leaked at the coil but I took a chance and bought it.
After taking the shell off, I found 3 splits in the heating coil (must have not been winterized and froze up).
I welded the splits closed and pressure tested all good. Been cleaning everything around the house with it, cars, tractors, lawnmowers, sidewalks, on and on, it's awesome.
220 degree water just melts dirt and grease.

   Is it diesel/kerosene fired?

I have an Alkota that is probably 12 years or so old. It really comes in handy with all the equipment we have around the farm.

It'll burn diesel or kerosene.
Been thinking about converting the pump drive to a gas engine. It's kind of limited to 50' from the 220v outlet right now.

You're going to be limited by either the 220 outlet or the water hose...Whichever is shorter.

Great score!  I would like to have a hot water washer for farm equipment but for now my 3200psi cold water will do.

I worked at a forklift shop that had a hot water washer (steam if you wanted it, but that's crazy) it was awesome. No matter what came in on a truck, it went down the drain and left a sparkling dry beauty behind.

Don't think I'd point it at my distributor though.
