Rear 1/4 Window Plates ??

I have a 68 Charger. I have 2 L & R 1/4 window metal plates that I assume go behind the trim panels.
Not sure how the plates go or how they mount. If some one has a pic that might help.

Do you have a FSM? I know my 69 has them but I don't remember how they mount. I think they have small screws. Someone else will chime in here soon.

yeah  , tthe picture , i borrowed it from a thread one of the members started on here , he bought a rusted out  69 R/T SE , was decideing to restore it or  part it out   , was a while back now ,

So the cover was to keep down the endless knocking on the door from people with offers to buy?  The generous type of offers for about 1/4 what its worth and a suggestion to paint it orange and put a 01 on the doors?
