New here and looking for some advice

I am looking to purchase a 69 Charger and I am about to pull the trigger on a R/T.  But I am a little worried about the condition of these two brackets near the gas tank.  I assume they bolt on and I have looked at some websites to see what these pieces are called but I have had no luck.   Also would you be worried about their condition considering they seem to be attached to the rear frame rail?  Thanks

If you have that much rust, there is a lot more hid in other places. Better look a little closer.  I'm not sure what the technical name for them is but they look like the brackets where your exhaust tips hang from.

What is the rest of the car like?  An RT is certainly worth putting more effort into saving but there is always a point where enough is enough.

Those are the exhaust tip hanger brackets. They are currently not being reproduced. You're right, they just attach with bolts.
They were made of fairly thick metal, but are commonly rusted just due to the location. Check the swaps, eBay, etc for replacements.
Like others mentioned, be sure to check the rest of the rear unibody structure.
