Does anyone have removal/installation instructions for the push-in type brake light switch for a 1969 Charger?  I couldn't find anything in the factory service manual.  My brake pedal will not push back far enough to get the switch out, I haven't been able to get to the bracket mounting bolt with the tools I have and I'm afraid to take the large bolt out that holds the switch stop in place because I'm not sure of how easy it is to reconnect everything after the new switch is in.  I would think this should be pretty easy to change, so I must be missing the obvious.  Any advice is appreciated.

there is a 7/16 bolt holding the bracket in place , it also allows adjustment of the switch position , remove that bolt & the bracket with the switch should drop out

I thought that might be what needs to happen, it's just not the easiest thing to get to.  Thanks for the help.
