looks to foosey (split two tone ) for me (i know i know the song )  plus it has the same color scheme year one used on the goldberg superbird

sorry Kenny love your other cars but this one i just dont get it   :Twocents:

how about a deeper color blue like B-7   :shruggy:
GO SELL CRAZY SOMEWHERE ELSE WE ARE ALL STOCKED UP HERE

thedodgeboys

Yearones post says KWS can't decide between the first one or the second one.

If I were doing this car I would use the first one but add the 71 billboard stripe in black or a silver gray kind of a ghost
Billboard very subtle maybe with KWS in the call out instead of 440 or Hemi..

I like #1 better because it looks more like a factory AAR scheme and less like a Foose job. The one with black on the bottom has Foose written all over it.

Yes - #1.

I think #1 is better too and I agree on the Foose look.  I wasn't crazy about many of the Foose look cars when they began to use the same tricks over and over and the #2 one looks Foosier to me.

FLG

#1 for me too

Hey KWS were waiting on ya!

KWS

Hi guys. I didn't know if I should post about this car over here because it's not a Charger. I'm going with #1, we just wanted to get some people involved in the decision process by letting them vote. The car is currently sitting in storage in CA in primer with loose parts piled up in it. It's gonna be a killer ride. Most likely it'll have a Gen-III Hemi in it, possibly supercharged with all the goodies you'd expect from a modern pro-touring car. There will be a slight FOOSE influence as he will be making the wheels for it. The car will be heading to Year One to begin work fairly soon, though I'm not sure what the expected date of completion will be. I'll keep you guys posted as the car progresses.

Todd Wilson

Thats gonna be an interesting build! Keep us updated with pics and info!

Amen to that KWS, I like all styles, if done tastefully, not the DUB stuff... I like the 1st option also, Blue on the sides, it looks nice & classy, I would do a wheel with 5 spokes instead of 6 maybe, but that's just my opinion, I like it either way... Looks Bad Ass

Cooter loves to chime in about wheel sizes

Hes had a hard on for 15" wheels forever

Like Kws said 15" wheels on every car would be
BORING.
Plus you can't add big brakes behind 15"

I bet cooter has a rotary phone as well
And still has rabbit ears on the tv

It's preference and personal taste.  That's it.  Kenny's cars aren't ghetto cars.  There's money, time and thought that goes into them.  I think big wheels look good on some and bad on others.  But again, that's just my outlook.  I hate seeing big wheels on ghetto cars.  The kind that the wheels & tires are worth more than the car.  To me it's cheesy and dumb.

I'm also not one who is too crazy about the big wheels.  Room for both points of view but my personal taste just finds the big wheels on the musclecars to be silly looking.  There are lots who think any that are smaller than 17 look silly.  What can you say, its a crazy world.

skip68

Sorry Fred, but Kenny said this car is being built for me.  He keeps bugging me to hang out with him.   He tells all his friends he's buddies with "skip68"
It's kinda embarrassing but what can I say to a fan?   ???  :shruggy:
So I'll say it now publicly, Kenny is my buddy.

Whoa Ghoste, Better watch out making remarks like that...I mean, How can you run brakes that are designed for racing on your car that will never see a race track, with 15" wheels? Daggone, I thought everybody knew that the 11" Discs from the factory will never stop a Musclecar. What were you thinking? Your gonna have to upgrade to 40" rotors and 12 piston calipers soon or you won't be able to drive your sh*t any longer on today's roads. WTF? :icon_smile_wink:

Wheels are the easiest thing to change out , you can alter the whole look of a car in 10 mins !
Personally I like them , not too big but 17-18 look great , imporve the handling & there are some wicked tire choices in larger sizes + the benefit of larger brakes , never a bad thing .

EXACTLY !!!!
And why people get hung up on wheels I will never understand

I think probably because its also one of the most personal statements people will add to their car.  But I'm only guessing. :shruggy:

99% of the compliments I get on my car are about the wheels. And yes, they're 22"s and no, they are not "ghetto".

I'd argue though that the newer cars were styled with larger diameter wheels in mind.  And you are right, they aren't ghetto, they are more retro but thats a good thing.  :icon_smile_big:

I can actually think of a few people on this forum
Who subscribe to calling any wheel over 15"
As ghetto

Not pointing any fingers but "they" know who they are !!!!

skip68

Those wheels look right for your car Ponch.  Most new cars wheels are bigger but they are part of the styling like was said.   What I call ghetto is an 1985 caprice with 24's.  We've got a few members here that have 18's or 20's on their old chargers and I think they look good.   I think it depends on the wheel.

about wheels deal... I love stock 15", however I still like 17"s but as MAX SIZE, keeping some room for rubber. More than that and I would say you, put in on a railroad. Also with room for Rubber will allow us to still find white letters tires on that size, to make it look even more classy.

Then if 17" on a Muscle car, go with classy/vintage style, and will be less shocking. You have to see your car as a one unit, not as a car with wheels or wheels with a car on them

There is one detail, about stock and big wheels decision, and is IT LOOKS the 15" tires variety is going down day after day, so market is MAKING US to switch even we don't want to change from 15" ( Look at tirerack website for example, and will note allmost to NONE 15" tires options ).

Now, about the Cuda itself... Hard to say. Id like to keep the "stockish" look and paint scheeme like number one, But I LIKE A LOT the number 2 variation of number one, making to "WAKE UP" the stripe on quarter
