Top ball joint question

Do i have to remove the front disc rotor or brake caliper to change over the top ball joint on my 70.

no, you don't have to remove them, but you will need to have them held up when you separate the joint form the spindle

yes & no....jack the car up from frame, then out jack stands i=under the control arm...do not trust a jack under the arm when changing suspension parts
