Being that there weren't too many people living on the island currently known as Puerto Rico prior to Columbus' discovery in 1493, I have to think the "Jesus's" living there now have the Hebrew name of Jesus......... I'm just saying..........

Is the same jesus for charger where the guy ask for your money because he is trying to build a charger for jesus (his son) and that he wants donations from people to build a car.  Last time I checked he was asking for 100k to build a car for jesus (his son) so he could drive aruound in it.

YES IT IS AND HE IS ALSO A HANDICAPPED VERY NICE YOUNG MAN that loves chargers,he is also the kid that had his 1968 dodge charger page stolen from him,i am an administrator on the chargers for JESUS PAGE so if you have questions you can ask me ,his dad was getting remarried & the soon to be wife wanted the charger sold for the money & chris ,the young man in question got very upset,& did not understand what he was asking for in donations for the 68 charger,as soon as someone explained to him about the moral & legal aspect of what he did ,he stopped asking for money . i hope this clears up any confusion regarding my brother in CHRIST, CHRIS CASSIDY AKA FURBYBOY, THANX charlie keel

If it's for a boy named Jesus I think a more appropriate title would be "Charger for my son"   Less confusion.   Is this a religious donation or helping a father get his son a dream car?    I guess I'd better read more about this.

Not to start anything but, one of the biggest problems I have with people asking for help or donations is when they play the God/religion card.  I'm a Christian and I find it inappropriate when asking for help or personal gain to bring religion into it.  Most are cons and scams.   Your beliefs have nothing to do with asking the public for help.   All I need to know is that your children are hungry, your kids need clothes, your wife/husband is dying or in this case a boys father is trying to grant his disabled sons dream.   Actually to be quite honest it discusses me.  I ignore these types because the majority are what they are.   Again, not wanting trouble here.   Bottom line is unless it's directly church related, the religious card has no business in "help me ads, Craigslist wanted or for sale ads, eBay or any other type of general public discussion or advertisement.   

    Sorry if I upset anyone here, that's NOT my intention.   When asking for help don't give a reason for people to question it.

I'm not sure where the idea came from that it was a donations page for a Puerto Rican kid, but to me it looks like the page is just a fan page that combines Jesus with Chargers, and nothing more.   (Which frankly, I don't see the point of but to each his own)

And I agree with Skip that co-opting religion onto anything unrelated is tacky at best, and at worst is damaging to the religion itself.    It's basically saying 'Oh, you don't want to donate to my cause?  What if my cause is also about JESUS?  Are you going to say no to JESUS HIMSELF?  You're a horrible person if so.  Please put your money right here in the can.'

It's slimy and underhanded and just proves that cause was pretty much worthless in the first place.   Stapling Jesus on top perverts and dilutes Christianity and  turns his followers into bullies.

Thank you.   Tacky was another word I was thinking.   You hit it on the head also.  It's almost a form of guilting someone into helping.   I don't do the Facebook thing but my wife does and she's going to check it out.  If it's a worthy cause it should stand on its own and not need name dropping/promoting.    A few years ago I made a guy/kids dream come true with my GENERAL LEE.    I don't know what their religious beliefs were, what political stand they had or anything.   What I do know is I made a difference in his life that will last til the day he dies.   That's all I need to know.   If they started getting political or religious it may not have happened.   The kid would've suffered because not everyone sees the same.

WTF!   My wife pulls up the Facebook page and it says it's not about religion. Then there's a big cross I see and then there's something about Christians against Obama ........  Sorry, but now at this point I'm really not interested in anything to do with this.    
I'm not a Democrat either.   This whole thing smells fishy to me and I want no part of it.  FAIL!  
Sounds like a scam from somebody in Mexico......   If there was any validity in this dad wanting a Charger for his son they blew it.
