Do have an update....I was tying to setup to see the car this last weekend, but did not work out.
I also noticed while scanning ads in a another city close by (Portland), a pic of the same cuda down there. It was an ad by a well known charger flipper in that city.
Kinda felt I might be giving up too much to start with, and now with this, just dont get the vibe, if you know what I mean.

So thinking I will do body and paint, and if I decide get a cuda later down the road, I can sell this one or one even some of the other cars, and get a clean car.

Heck not like you can loose with a charger or a cuda, both great cars to drive and have fun with.

While seeing this post, I thought...What type of B-body ? and what type of E- body ?
After the suspense was found, I think a 71 'Cuda will always be worth more than any Charger.  :Twocents:
I put after-market seats in my 71 'Cuda and I fit very well. (I am 6'4) . :Twocents:

As in Portland, Oregon?

Yep that one. Not that I care if a guy flips cars at all, but I figure he is in the deal for profit, I am in it for more of a fair trade.

Several years ago ( it's been almost 20  :eek2: ) I had a nice, reliable '72 Charger that I drove everywhere.

I really liked that car.

Then along came this little whore of a four speed Challenger that I thought I had to have.

So, I sold my Charger and bought that sexy little yellow slut.

I hated that piss colored bitch.

Too small, rode like a log wagon and everybody would say "Nice Camaro"

And...

It was yellow...

I hate yellow cars.

So... I sold it.

I haven't had a car I enjoyed driving like my old Charger since.

Probably never will...

I'll take a yellow car over a green thing anyday. :Twocents:

Strip 'em both to bare metal inside and out and start over... :eek2:

As others have eluded to, the Charger is more appealing to me........ BUT, looking forward and with potential in my eyes (some can see it coming already, "Troy-trade")........

If the '71 you're referring to is a real '71 'Cuda and not a base Barracuda, it has more potential in getting something else you may prefer in the long run, for example a real 440 Charger R/T. Albeit, the 68 383 Charger is nice, it is nonetheless still a base Charger with a 383 option.

Just food for thought............  This rational has served me well having all roads lead to what I have now, the Daytona and Charger 500 (both acquired via trades)............
