Can't figure out which is more bizarre, the fact that the dealer charged $3995 for that wing & stripe, or that someone thought the wing & strip was worth the extra $3995.

I was thinking more along the lines of what an embarassment to the United States to have a foreign owned company build engines and assemble the cars outside of the country only to bring the car back into the US and have an American dealer sell such an ugly thing to an American customer.

This would be a fine example of "Settling" for whatever you can get that remotely looks "fast".....For my $45K they want for that thing, It better be an original that came with that wing.

While I love driving my American made Superbird, I love driving my new Challenger even more. It's one of the best driving vehicle that I've ever owned.  I added the skip shift eliminator for the six speed and installed a pistol grip shifter with carbon fiber grips. I added the six pack hood and have just bought the 392 front spoiler and a factory go wing for it. It runs on 91 octane fuel and gets 25 mpg. My Superbird won't run on anything less than 93 octane with out overheating and unfortunately we can no longer get 93 here. I need to pull the radical engine out of the bird and put a milder one in that runs on 91.

Now, as for that wing on the new Challenger, I think that if they had made the wing shorter and painted it to match, it would have looked much better.

we can only get it at a select few  BP stations here and towards the center of missouri and over by st louis shell has it  .
