I'm going t be getting new tires soon. I've got 15x 8.5s on the car. I want to see some pics of your cars with 245\60\15s up front and those with 255\60\15's up front.    Any other wide front tire pics welcome as well.

Hey Joe,

I run 245's on the front of my car. I had them mount some 255's initially but they were too wide for my taste.  :Twocents:

Still one of the best looking Chargers out there, IMO... I love it.

This is also the reason I went with the MT Sportman tires last time around.....

I have a buddy that says he's running 295's on all four corners. 15x10 in the rear and 15.8.5 in the front. I have yet to see this , and can't imagine how it'll look... I would think it'd be too wide and might hit??

JN488

Here are 245/60's on front with 275/60's on rear. Wheels are all 15x8's.

My9302002

That looks just about perfect.
Any side shots?
One from the back?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

JN488

Okay, I am back home so I can wear you out with pictures. Always willing to show pictures of the cars! :yesnod:

JN488

And still more.........  I do like the look of the 15" chrome magnums, although quality of the wheels is only fair-to-good (Specialty Wheel).

XH29N0G

Your car looks fantastic!   Thanks for posting the additional pics.

Thanks for the compliment.  I am happy to help any way I can, as I know the feeling of trying to settle on wheels and tires.  I spent a lot of time looking at pictures, researching and thinking before deciding on these.  I like the Rallye's on '70's a lot too, and also struggled over 295/50's since they look great in the rear wheel wells.  There are occasional cars though with rubbing issues on the 295's, so I stuck with the safer 275's.

Very nice JN, real clean look.  I notice you still have a bit of room to bring the tires closer to the quarter and fender well lips.  What's the backspace on the rims?
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

JN488

Dino, the rims are 15x8 with the standard 4.5" backspace.  From my reading, that is a safe setup for the 275's and nobody ever has any rub issues in that combination.  With the 295/50's, the reduced clearances seem to require a lot more precision with matching wheel size and backspacing.  I also noted posts where 295/50 combinations that worked on one car would rub a times on another car, so individual car fitment came into play.  In short, the 275's were a sure fit, while the 295's look great but may take some tweaking on an individual car.

Good points.  The 275's look just as great btw, very nice look, great stance.

Thanks Just 6T9, your car was one I looked at often when deciding on wheels and tires.  The look and stance of your car is exceptional, one of the best I have seen.
