I've never heard of that company before. But I have a VFN hood on my car. fits pretty good.

With a fiberglass hood can you still use the hinge springs?

VFN sells fiberglass hood- hood springs. a real light tension one which replaces the factory spring.

How much finishing work was required with the VFN hood? Was the underside easily painted or did it need a ton of work? It could just be the photos but the undersides of the VFN and the ebay one look rough.

I don't have the VFN one, yet.  But from what I've read it doesn't take much to fit it, I never heard about the underside so I can't say.  I did hear that shipping was not cheap but never got an answer at to what they thought wasn't cheap.

i think no matter what the undersides of fiberglass parts are rough. mine is unfinished but i may smooth it down alittle and paint it too. depends on how ambitious I get. lol
