Putting my 46rh behind my 340 just hit another snag, only 3 bolts on the TC line up. My options are pulling the TC and sending it back or drilling out the bolt hole to make it fit(what I want to do), but will that throw the balance off?

I turned the TC trying to see if maybe that one was off for a reason, but no matter which way I turned it, there was alwats that one off.

Dont start drilling, get the right one.

95 and earlier ones had one hole offset, so try rotating it a few times. If it still does not line up its possible your one of your components is 96+ (which has symmetrical holes) and one part is older with the one off set hole.

The engine is a 73 340, so I am confused by what you said. It is a 95 46RH, so do they make a symmetrical 46RH lockup Torque converter?

I did try rotating the TC, still no good.

FLG

Yes. 96+ cars had symmetrical TC's

Thanks and will a 96+ work in a 95 46RH?

The engine is a 73 340,

Are you aware that the '73 340 has a cast crank that requires external balance weights on the converter or a special flexplate?
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Yes, Chryco told me that and I ordered my TC with weights.
