Took my Charger for a spin this morning. What a feeling, I'm cruising in my 1968 Dodge CHARGER!!  90 minutes of personal time, and it was freaking awesome!  Cruising along, enjoying myself; put my foot into it and go!  I'm going to have a silly grin on my face all day!  Ya buddy.    ;)

I have a lot of work to do still, but I'm enjoying it while I do the work.   :2thumbs:

TheGhost

Oh yea!  Best part of owning these cars. :2thumbs:
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

I've cruised over 40K miles since finishing the car in '99 and it never gets old......

That's what it's all about  I went to an all MG show with my dad in StCharles IL.  As soon as I got home, I cruised for a few hours in the 70 Challenger.  Yesterday I had the Daytona out for a couple hours.  It has rained all morning, but we sure needed the rain :2thumbs:

Cruising is great-it makes up for all of the other times that I've wanted to drive an M1 Abrams tank over the car because of technical issues...

Ghoste

Straight up! :2thumbs:  Heading out for nowhere in particular myself shortly.

Driving an abrams over cars is a lot of fun, I can't deny it.

I can't count how many miles I drive my car. Its too many to keep track of! :2thumbs:

Fred

Just cruising..............there's no feeling like it.  :2thumbs:

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

Wow you've really driven an M1?  I would give a week's pay to do that...

Absolutely!!  Going where I want ( or hell, we'll find out when we get there) and I don't care when I get there.

Congrats, can't wait till I can drive me 73  :yesnod:

Another wonderful day out in the Charger!  I put over 100 miles on it today!   :2thumbs:

Drove out to Federation Forest near Mt. Rainier this afternoon, good to get out and stretch my tires!

AirborneSilva

Beautiful scenery, the forest and river are nice too  :icon_smile_big:

My Charger is a time machine.

I bought my Charger when I was 18, my Dad had to cosign the loan.

I'm now 57, but when I drive my Charger I'm 18 again.

It's not a midlife crisis, it's my second adolescence.

TK73

Nice!!

Gonna have to catch up with Ya for a cruise!!

Now watch what you say or they'll be calling you a radical,
      a liberal, oh fanatical, criminal.
Won't you sign up your name, we'd like to feel you're
acceptable, respectable, oh presentable, a vegetable!

Yup, whenever I get behind the wheel it's 1994 for me all over again...

Fred

Drove mine 3 times this week and it's never enough.
I'm definitely in another place when I'm driving it.

I want to drive it today but every time I pull it out I can't help but notice how insane the roads and drivers are; I can't help but think twice about it...

Fred

Have to admit I've had some hairy moments myself on occassion but you can't let that stop you. Just keep your eyes peeled.  :2thumbs:

I definitely prefer open roads with little traffic. Too many scary drivers out there!

Fred

You got that right. I live on the outskirts of Melbourne so it doesn't take much to hit the freeways.   I head staight for them. You can't cruise in city traffic (can't relax for a minute .........can't afford to let your guard down)
But out there on those open roads..........life's good.  :2thumbs:

F**k it.  I took my Fuji racing bicycle, threw it in the trunk and drove the Charger in bumper to bumper rush hour traffic just so I could get a good work out at the local track.  Nothing lasts forever, everything ends, enjoy it while it lasts...

Fred

Now you're talking myk.  :2thumbs:

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

Took it out AGAIN!  It's MADNESS I tell you!

Fred

Move to Wyoming. Plenty of open spaces there.  :yesnod:

I bet the gas is cheaper too...

Indeed. I'm not letting the experience of being in my Charger and it being completely demolished by a jerk take the fun out of having another one and riding it all the time (as soon as I get it back on the road haha, in at least a month or two).

Same here, I honked my starters hooter in a can and then led a convoy of around 45 Mopars out in a convoy yesterday. That made my day and theirs too   :2thumbs:

Will put some pics up later
