I just found another charger it is a 383 hp car its white with green interior and green vinyal top seems to me a strange color combo

Oddly enough, there is one here in town like that but its a 69.

Long time member Troy Hawkes had a white with green V code '70 Charger.

What I like was the white ext. with red interior.

There is a beautiful all original 383 1968 in that exact same color combo in my area. He only takes it out to a couple car shows a year and is always a treat to see.

It wasn't strange back in the 60s.

Every Mopar left the factory with something green, and then many were repainted at the dealerships.  :yesnod:

A lot of the green ones went to dudes coming back from 'Nam & the green reminded them of "home".

At least that's what I was told @ Carlisle in '10.   :shruggy:

Hmm, hadn't heard that one before but we do have a few vets on here.  What say those who served us then?

I was entering my '68 into the registry, and found out that it is originally white with green vinyl top and green interior. Went to find a photo of that combo since mine has a white hard top now (it had the white hardtop when I bought it), and came across this thread. Does anyone have a photo of a white '68 with green vinyl roof??

Not rare at all. What is more rare is one that left in that configuration that was restored back to it. I owned one one time a local guy had one and I have seen many variations of it. White with red interior, white with blue, white with gold..etc.

This is absolutely killing me! I have a W1 white, green top and interior, 68. I've owned it since 1980. It was in pretty rough shape when I got it, so I'm confident it hasn't been changed. I've been reading this, tried to respond, and CAN'T post a pic! It keeps saying it's too large. Any idea on making them smaller on an i pad? Thanks

Can't do it on an iPad. Need to rename and resize it on computer

There's my baby!!! Thanks again Dino! I've had it since 1980. Got it fairly rough, but made it the way it was born. It's a 318 car, but a great cruiser! 😊
