"Only offers at or above my listing price will be considered."

Why the hell would anyone offer more than the asking price????

Invested over $35K but asking $18K?  Okay...

I figure its not a bad price, but the wording in the craigslist is off...like you guys have caught on just odd, but not a bad price I would say.

Dino

Have we seen this car before?  the smooth upper door pads and two tone interior look familiar.  I think it's a scam btw.

If it is legit, then that is a good price.  Based on my initial estimates, I would have about $17k (including purchase price) into my car when I am done with it.  Hell, I would buy it, if I weren't already restoring one.

I agree. If I were in the market for a General I be all over this one. Plus he is probably less than an hour away from me.  :scratchchin:
I pointed to two old drunks sitting across the bar from us and told my friend
"That's us in 10 years".
He said "That's a mirror, dip-shit!

Dino

I hope it's legit but who would take such a loss?  It may not be mint but it's obviously a good car that had lots done to it.  If it's real it won't last long.

Did you double your estimates for parts?   I estimated my car at 20K, but after the first round of AMD, I'm thinking I'll wind up sinking more like 30K into it which will never be recovered.
