I have been told there was such a thing on television back in the early 70's but I don't recall ever seeing it or hearing about it before.  Does anyone remember watching this?

I think Rikki Tikki Tavi was cartooned and broadcast in the 70s. Maybe thats what they were thinking.

I do recall Motormouse and now that I think of it there was another one that wasn't really drag racing but it was part of that great late 60's car culture.  Can't recall the name but was it like the The Perils of Penelope Pitstop or something maybe?

Found another one, Hot Wheels Acceleracers.  Never saw it but apparently it was out in 1969.  Still nothing on this Prudhimme McEwen one though.
