it looks poly control arms bushing are not for daily drivers

as you read. It looks they are gone after just maybe 2 or 3 years. I can hear some wishtle and weeeks noises when I press brake pedals, and pushing down my driver side front corner. A friend of mine who drives a lot inside the country, got same experience and they were gone after a year.

They were energy suspension ( both )

Tbh, i think its got more to do with your choice of suppliuer than anything wrong with poly. Like anything, there are bad, indifferent and good. Same with rubber bushes. Cheap bushes degrade real quick.

That said, id use rubber in that location with poly on the rods up to the K -member.

My PST poly kits have held up just fine after decades of driving.

I've been much less impressed with fit and finish on Energy Suspension poly. Aren't these the same guys who make strut rod bushings that are too thick?

No, my cars aren't daily drivers.  I did need to use my Challenger as a daily driver for about 4 months once, but beyond that, their miles tend to be limited to 2000-4000 annually. However, since I've owned my Plymouth since '92 and my Dodge since '95, they have managed to rack up somewhere between 50,000 to 70,000 miles each since their rebuilds. There also are those occasions when those miles are put on them in a more aggressive fashion than what my daily driver is subjected to, however, the rarely ever see extended off pavement excursions where they are exposed to gravel and dirt in excess.

I had 14 years on my Energy Suspension bushings when I switched to tubular control arms and they were still good as new.

The cheap rubber ones I installed the first time got chewed up in no time.
The PST poly bushings I've got in now have lasted       12000 miles (so far) with no problems.  :2thumbs:
