Although not my favorite the Ford Thunderbolt was a pioneering car of its era.

Aussie muscle cars are pretty odd ball and little known to Americans...

I LOVE the '70's Ford Falcon XBGT's (or the Cobra's). I think there is only 2 or 3 in the US, but I'd love to have one.

Yeah, true enough TD, not much gets past Max's Interceptor   :icon_smile_big:

Yeah, that was a pretty good looking car. The Falcon XY GT HO is the one's that are fetching a good price now. A friend of mine let his go for $350k but some are fetching up to $500k.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

One of my dad's buddies had a 1964 Buick Wildcat convertible with a 425 and factory 4-speed. It was a boat, but very unusual and I really liked it. Similar to this...

Something oddball and not Mopar, which I'm guessing what the vibe of this thread is about since we all know the Factory Pentastar stuff backwards......

An oddball huh?  Hmm, it isn't too odd but how about a 69 Ranchero with a 428 CJ in it?

The very rare 1971 AMC Hornet SC360 (had a 360 V8). I only ever seen 1 in my life in person. and that was about 20 years ago.

Or the Gremlin with a 401?

That was never a factory option in the Gremlin. My friend used to have one with a factory 304, and a 3spd on the floor, and that was damn fast. We used to eat Mustangs and Camaros all day long with it.

I did not know that... but i've never really pursued the issue either. I knew someone that had one and I guess I just assumed they offered it.

Although I've never seen one, I have heard of HEMI station wagons that Galen Govier decoded as genuine. Has anyone ever seen one of these?

I would have to say any AMC muscle car. I saw a Nice Rebel in Northampton last weekend. Sounded awesome. I remember a guy in my church growing up, he always had an AMC and talked about them often.

I think the AMC cars drove great, I just never got very enthusiastic about their engines probably because there werent so many speed parts around for them.nowadays I would love to have an Eagle wagon 4x4 with some older bigger AMC engine in it, but theres just two of those in my country and theyre not for sale for any reasonable price.
