And bowling is great because you can still drink your beer while you play. Try doing that on the parallel bars & see what happens.   ::)

Another Olympic event I like is Women's "Bucket Loader Bucket Balancing"

Vainglory, Esq.

Let's move on to swimming, which is really more my speed.

Here is Kara Lynn Joyce, who will be competing in the 50 free:

Vainglory, Esq.

This is Kathleen Hersey, who will swim the 200 fly.

Fun facts - she went to the same high school that I went to (for one year), but she was on the cross-town rival swim club.

Vainglory, Esq.

Here's my personal favorite, Chloe Sutton.

Chloe is an interesting story because she was already on an Olympic team, swimming the 5 kilometer open-water event in Beijing in 2008. That sort of success doesn't usually translate into the shorter, pool-enclosed events, but she apparently transformed herself into a middle-distance swimmer, making the 2012 team in the 400 meters. She went from an event that takes 2 hours to an event that takes 4 minutes and change.

She's also hot.

Vainglory, Esq.

And so you Aussies don't feel left out, here's Stephanie Rice, including a picture that she Tweeted of herself, modeling my most favorite swimsuit in the history of the world ever.

She seems a little manly in the cheekbones but I'm pretty taken with Jessica Ennis of Great B/UK/England/whatever.  Watching that tanned, sweat-glistening, panther like body of hers run its course and then the photo-worthy smile on her face after she decimated the competition melted my cold heart...
