Has anyone repaired their taillights lenses?  I have a set of 1972 Charger Rallye Louvered taillights.  The plastic is in great condition, however, the areas that are seen have faded from the sun and the red is gone from these areas.  Has anyone re-dyed or repainted their lens with decent results?  If so, how did you do it?

Thanks

Personally I've never done it but I know there is a special red and yellow dye for dying lenses. You'll have to do a search though.

Yep, will need to be translucent (which paint usually isnt)
I got some of that stuff for panting globes amber. I'm sure there'll probably be a red version available somewhere.
Gotta love a '69
