Wow. Very nice. You need to change your screen name.

Yes change it to "Lucky Bastard". Nice nice and more nice! If the wheels are original (?) keep them for your man cave wall art. For me I'd be looking at some mag500's or Torque Thrust II's. Just DON'T buy them from Wheels Vintique. Oh and you know the rules......pic please.

myk

17 or 18" Torq-Thrust D's or maybe the American Racing 200S in either polished or chrome, since the car itself is a darker color.  Does the car have disc brakes?  Is the ammeter bypassed?  Does it have electronic ignition?  Does it have a limited slip 'diff?  What about a good set of Edelbrock IAS shocks?  4 barrel 'carb and maybe a Holley Street Dominator Intake?  How about looking at some Procar/Scat seats and getting some "real" bucket seats?  Lastly, I'd start considering stroking out the 383 or dropping in a 440.

Lol, regardless of what you do that's a beautiful car-a piece to be envied for sure.  Good luck with it!

Sharp looking Charger bud, well done  :2thumbs:  Put up a few more pics when you get a chance

I quite like these modern version of the Kelsey Hayes recall wheel, Yes, I know - wrong year for a 68 but they look good and the matt finish works well with the colour I reckon

I love that orig look with hubcaps,a cheap way to change the look quickly is by getting the "Bullit" style hubcaps.

But have to agree,Cragar SS's will look great and add that period correct add on look.
Did I mention I love the car?? LOL :drool5:

Cooter

Paint it black, get rid of that stupid, rust prone, Vinyl top, Install a set of Cragar SS Mags. NO raised White letters either. Chrome looks best against a black backdrop.

But, that's just me.

Love the SS's........but are they still having trouble with the chrome chipping/peeling off?

Magnum 500 Road wheels....

BEAUTIFUL CAR!!

X2.... that would be the only thing I'd do; keep the original wheels & caps and don't touch anything else!

I'm agreeing with the majority on this one.
An untouched, all original car with only 46,000 miles on it?? LEAVE IT ALONE!!!  :yesnod:

If you do swap wheels, I would go with something period correct: Magnum 500's, Kelsey-Hayes, dog dishes, etc. An aftermarket wheel might look out of place if everything else is bone stock, IMHO. Same with the tires, a set of redlines would look awesome! Check out Diamondback Classics, they make redline radials if you're worried about driveability.

Beautiful, BEAUTIFUL car!!  :drool5: :drool5: :drool5: :drool5:
