I hesitated on a set of 5 Vectors, new in the box, and have regretted since...

Anyone know of a stash of Re-Issue Vectors? Or anyone have them new - or LIKE NEW? Looking for 4 or 5, at a fair price

Please PM me with any details or sources... 15x7, may consider a split set of 15x7 / 15x8

Thanks!

I have yet to see any advertised at a "fair" price. Supply and demand always makes me made. Keep checking ebay and craigslist, they pop up from time to time at reasnable prices. I paid 375 for my setof 4 15x 8.5s. Origonals, not the new reissues. Unfortunatly I was told they we're mopar pattern but turns out they were gm so I unilugged them.

"AKH" deals in the old vectors but again, they are not cheap. I'm looking for a set myself and in the past few years prices have gone through the roof.

The new Vectors are different to the originals so that's something to consider as well.

Yeah, I don't care for the outer lip and gray color of the new ones. I looked at akh, they had 1 set when I was looking. Fully restored set of 4 was 2000 plus shipping. I about choked.

Wow Coonhunter, I thought I was the only one that uni-lugged a set of Cheaper GM wheels. GOOD deal. My kinda guy!

Fully restored them myself. Media blasted, primed, painted and matted the aluminum, uniluged on a mill.
I had mickey thompsons on it for a while, was afraid to break something so I went back to regular radials. Neverhad a nut come loose.

Man I wish I held onto all of my Vectors... I probably had 5 - 6 sets at one time when they could be bought for $200 a set. My wife was nagging me about them so I sold them off and kept one set for myself - In a GM bolt pattern of all things :'(

I'll gladly trade you the set of 5 new Vectors I have on my car for a set of oldies...

Thanks for the responses so far :coolgleamA: I have seen the "restored wheels" on eBay for $1,500, but they aren't selling, just listing...  :Twocents:

Again, thanks for the responses

Speaking of Vectors anyone have a source for reproduction stickers? Not the Shelby ones but the AR ones?

I found this set NOS on Craigslist for $50 but I already have a nice set. These stickers are a bit rough, but mine are missing all together.

This is the style I'm after.

doctor4766

They probably wouldnt be too hard to reproduce.

I'm tempted, take one down to the local sign/print shop and have them scan and print out a bunch of them. I have a good circle cutter. If I remember correctly they were a fairly thickish printed aluminum disk with adhesive on the back. About as thick as heavy card.

I think I had one that was in salvageable condition when I bought my old caps moons ago but I think I remember destroying it somehow :'(

Check and see if they're the same diameter as the new Vector cap inserts.

Would there be a market for these?
I can probably do them covered in a domed plastic.

Anyone think the reproduction Vectors will become as collectible as the originals?

I think there might be a small market, they were reproducing the Shelby stickers for a while. Dunno if they still are or not.

For those looking Summit still has SE Center Caps listed, special order though.
