My 69 Charger had the manual type mirrors on the driver and passenger doors.  I plan on using the remote mirror on the drivers door and the matching remote "style" mirror on the passenger door.  Will the drivers remote mirror and the passenger remote "style" mirror install in exactly the same holes as the manual mirrors did?  Is the footprint of the base the same for both remote and manual?

If I understand your question correctly you're going to install a non-remote but same style mirror on the passenger side.if this is correct then yes the bases are the same. I bought my passenger side mirror from R/T Specialties and it was dead on, came with its gasket and is good quality. One suggestion though would be to buy one of the round stick-on 2" convex mirrors for the passenger side. Use some blue painters tape to position for the best view and you're good to go. Otherwise all you will see is the beautiful passenger side hip. I covered the area on the pass. door where the mirror mounts with lots of blue tape, duplicated the driver side hole locations, sans the remote cable hole, and drilled the holes starting with a bit half the size needed then used the finished size bit next. If I can do it etc etc.

Thanks for the reply.  Looks like I'm good to go then.  I already bought the new remote mirror for the drivers side so will get the matching non-remote for the passenger door on order.  I'll check out RT Specialties.  I think I bought the new remote from PG Classics.  Not sure if they come from the same source or not.

Dunno know either but when you call R/T the phone will ring a bit but be patient because Tom will answer. He's a good guy and I think he's also a one man band, hence the ring wait but it's worth it.
