I like it although I can't eat it all the time.

More cans of Spam have been sold than there are people on Earth. In 2007, Hormel says, it shipped off its 7 billionth can. It took 22 years to break the billion-tin mark, at which point the sales ramped up exponentially. The company had sold 3 billion cans by 1980 and 4 billion by 1986. Hormel, still based in Austin, Minn., where the gelatinous meat product was first dreamt up back in 1937, can crank out 44,000 cans an hour at their current facility. The company has reported booming sales in the midst of the recession, with sales increasing 20% since 2007.

Close your eyes when you put it in your mouth & you'll be fine.   

I like it, might have it 5 or 6 times a year since I can guarantee it'll reverse the process of what 20 pounds of pure fiber & 6 boxes of ex-lax can do to your colon.

I bet if they still had the first can they made 75 years ago, it would still be "good" as in edible... to some people.

That gelatinous substance the "meat" is suspended in could probably used for many things. Fireproof coating on future spacecraft, break-in lube for engines, hand lotion for Joey Gowdy, etc.

Slice it very thin, then fry it up until the edges are black & crispy.
