Yep, that was just a part of the trip. She watched the chase scene with me the night before and thought it would be fun to go see locations too.

Here are a couple more:

Mustang Reverse Burnout:

Jumping Scenes:

The scenes where they did the jumping are quite a bit steeper than what they look like on film. I think that's because when you're there, it's easier to get a sense of what's level using your own equilibrium or sense of balance. So anyhow, after driving it, I have a hard time believing they did any of the jumping scenes in real time, and not undercranked, when they shoot at something like 20 fps and then speed it up to 24 to make it look faster.

Congrats on getting married . How is the rest of you family doing ?

Hey Neil,

They're doing quite well, down in Arizona quite a ways a way. How have you been?

Here's a couple more videos...

Watch out on that Marina blvd. in the top video. You're going west and are about two miles from the Golden Gate bridge and take a right turn and are stuck in stop and go traffic heading right towards the golden gate bridge again with concrete barriers on either side. Seems like there's no way to keep from going across it and having to come all the way back, but there's an exit just before the bridge.

Here's the last one, Guadalupe Canyon Parkway. It has since been converted from a single lane either direction to a much wider road, but you can still make out some of the scenes. These are 1080 high definition videos too, but I think you have to set it at that with the little six-toothed gear thing in the bottom right of the video.
