What winter, it has been as warm here in Kansas as in Socal. We recorded the warmest January ever.

Today it's 60!!

If I had a Mopar running, other than the truck, I'd take it out.  :drive:

THE COLONEL

Even though here in Pittsburgh we have had the 8th warmest January on record, and the warmest in 56 years, I still want a shotgun to shoot the little fur ball. :yesnod:

Let's see:

If he sees his shadow we have six more weeks of winter!

If he doesn't see his shadow we six more weeks til spring!

I will solve this riddle as soon as I get done with the half empty/half full glass of beer!

"do you think it'll be an early spring"
"I predict march 21st!"

I love that line!

My mechanic told me, "I couldn't fix your brakes, but don't worry I made your horn louder."

Well this makes what 6 years in a row of him seeing his shadow?

What is the deal with the groundhog that is in Georgia? he didn't see his shadow so is that to say that people in PA have 6 more weeks of winter, but people in Georgia have spring now?

Charger_Fan

Geez, according to that site, he sees his shadow more often than not.

Around here, we'll get spring whenever it's damn good & ready...and just when you thing it's safe to plant stuff, it'll snow one more time just to remind you that SNOW SUX! ;D

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

It would be so nice if it the mild weather stayed with us right into the spring... I don't think i can take anymore snow and ice.

Yep, I'm sick of winter too...and we've even had it pretty mild, for the most part. But I'm still sick of it. :yesnod:

Here in Vancouver, Wa. we got 11.43 inches of rain last month alone.  Wind storm tonight, yay, they're already predicting down power lines and trees.  The ground's so saturated right now it's not gonna take much to topple trees.
The boys @ Campbell Crane will be busy...

Yup. Every time I walk on my lawn it feels like walking on a big wet sponge. I can vaguely remember three days of partial sunshine over the past two months.

That thing saw his shadow last year to, i hope it sees its shadow every year. Yesterday and today I was out with just a sweatshirt here in upstate NY in the beginning of Feb, temp in the low 50s and no snow. Now if we could just get rid of the salt  ;)
