Hey, you can hate the game but don't hate the player.

That blue van was very pimp.  It's from NJ, some of the fellas know him, he was in the T last year.  He had an original Led Zeppelin Zoso ashtray on top of the cabinet.   :punkrocka:

Yes, it was quite uncomfortable this year.  I went through 2-3 t-shirts, 2 face towels and 6-8 20 oz. bottles of water per day (and some misc. beers mixed in  :yesnod:).

She's sweet now Ron, thanks for asking.  I compare her to Jekyl and Hyde now.  She's a beast at red lights, sounds mean idling, purrs liks a kitten on the highway (as quiet as my Jeep Liberty) but can still go from 70 to 100 in a few seconds.  The steering was still sloppy which made for an interesting trip but I picked up a new Steer & Gear Stage 2 Firm box at the show and it will be replacing my loosey goosey box in a few weeks.

I didn't put the 303 in yet, I still have the Isky Mega 280.  I wanted to see how the Isky ran with the new converter and rear end for a while before I made any costly decisions like a cam change.  I'm also considering swapping my 906's out for some Eddy heads so I may wait and do both at the same time down the road and give me some time to save up the cash.  The changes I did make cost a bit and had to pick and choose what to bite off this year so I went with the converter, OD and rear for now.

I actually sell / repro the antifreeze tag and the factory ok tags.  I had them with me at Carlisle.  I honestly thought that R6 red charger that was a basket case would have taken 1st.  Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would come home with a first at this show due to the quantity and quality of the nicely restored cars that seemed to be nicer than mine.

I don't think it was a 4 door. But it definately was someone with a saws all, set of torches and a few cases of beer I'm sure! :hack:

Steve P.

Looks to me that it MAY have been a 2 door to start with, but it now has front doors from a 4 door and a good section removed after the B pillar. I like it.. Would love to know the original WB and what it is now.....??
