OK, I'll just link the pics since email seems to be SNAFU.
This is my functional window. Notice the lack of buttons on the exterior of the glass.

Here is a shot of the nose. Correction, the truck is an 88, not a 93. The salesman had a brain fart writing up the purchase. They had another almost identical truck with a short bed. I suppose if worse comes to worst, I'll just buy a pair of the available replacements with the hardware buttons.
