Sat in the shade for awhile after walking the Dodge Charger rows and the General Lee rows, then over to the Survivor Tent, which has some great cars this year!

Still haven't see the Charger mentioned on p.2 for sale, but it sounds a bit over priced, even without looking at it... :Twocents:

Back in the AC for awhile, it's HOT!!! A couple of ambulances have come and gone, and there are cooling stations all over  :scratchchin: This is the hottest it's ever been for me @ the show. But I love it!!  :2thumbs:

Weather report is still promising, just hot  :coolgleamA:

I think that same car was at Carlisle 3 years ago. Was supposed to have white interior, but if I remember right at the time it had black interior installed in it.

She's  Emily...  aka: Number 11 from last year.   But in this case she was #14.      Seriously there was a girl crying afterwards about how the contest was rigged.    FYI.  "Most" but not all of the contestants are Carlisle employees.   All 3 of these were.

"Most" of them work for Carlisle and you see them either walking around or working at the guest services bldg.

It's advertised at $110,000.00 now. He should have held on to it.

Not sure that I know anyone on the board anymore as I was a lot more active several years ago. I always look for the tent though, and noticed its just next to where I'm parked in my 74 Red Charger (71 clone) sitting just behind the 1970 charger resgistry tent.

Wow was it Hot today couldn't bring myself to come talk to anyone but would welcome a chat, well like I said I don't actually know anyone no more.  :shruggy:

Is Nacho up from S.A??

Heath

How do you make a 74 Charger look like a 71. The roof/quarter glass ruins that idea. :scratchchin:

Ghoste

So where is that full tent shot with all the Charger forum participants???

Wicked72

so i got distracted as soon as i got in and totally forgot abt the group pic... i t was my first time and WOW the place was huge . i never really left the garage sale area spent all my money which was what i had planned on and had no idea i could buy so much with what i had. i might just be able to afford to get my car on the road! thank you carlisle! it was like disney land!!! we all know how miserable the heat was but the ppl were very nice and helpful. i can finally get some work done on the charger!!! best time ever ill be going again next year and hopefully for 2 days!! btw who won the hemi?????

I got to talk to some of the DC members.  :2thumbs:  I owe a big thank you to Brian and his parents for helping me set up the canopy and tear it down.  Wow, the heat was miserable.  :icon_smile_tongue:  I talked to Brian and the twins as I was leaving. I never made it down to the tent due to some issues I'm having. I also met Tom and we chatted for awhile about Graveyard Cars. Thanks for the green water bottle.

You are not kidding!!! Being that I own a Charger now I spent most of my 3 days walking the swap meet and WOW. In some ways it was a good thing I didn't bring much cash. It kept me on target for the little items I needed now. Like a kid in a candy store.  :smilielol:

Big thanks to NHCharger for showing me the ropes and allowing me to tag along with all of his exploits.   As always, I met new faces and old and wish that I had more time to catch up and share a beer or two in the parking lots. Too dam hot for the beers though.  :eek2:

It was $200.000+ a few years back.   Dad sold it in 1979 for $2200.  I was 8.  He showed me the money and said.  Look how much I got for that car...   That was a lot of loot for a used 69 Charger.   He then purchased a 1962 Lincoln Convertible (with AC.)  Not that the Lincoln is worth anything today but what a cool car.    He also purchased a 69 Daytona in 71 for $2300.   I have that now.  It all works out.
