It rained like a sumbitch last year. Even flooded the lower section where some cars that were for sale were parked... if I remember correctly.

I remember last year :eek2:  Early Friday morning Carlisle staff brought in some serious pumps and drained the flood water ...by 11:00 there was no signs of flooding. Great Job.  :2thumbs:

We leave tomorrow morning. Figure 8-10 hour drive in the Durango hauling the Charger on a trailer in 100+ heat.

Over-drive switched off.....check
Extra containers of rad fluid.....check
Car trailer.......check

Throwing caution to the wind and just going for it....Priceless

We'll see how the old faithful 2003 Durango does.

You work for AMEX and you're making a Mastercard joke?   :icon_smile_wink:

Oh no you didn't....

Oh yes he did and well too  :smilielol:

101 Saturday (which means 110). If we get a thunderstorm, it's gonna be wicked.  :faint:

rarefish

I'm leaving at 5:00 am tomorrow morning to try to beat the heat. I'm leaving the Charger home this year..... I will be driving the AAR and I will tell you that is one hot car to ride in. Black interior and no tinted glass. It's like riding in a pressure cooker when the sun is blazing. :fireangry: I Will be at the CVD car show Thursday night and I will be stopping by the DC tent on Saturday afternoon for the photo shoot.

Yeh, usually the hotter and more humid it is, the worse the storms.   :brickwall:

Same in my car at 3pm. Went to 106 shortly there after. Ended up leaving as the heat was too much even with the breeze. Headed north on 81 and it didn't drop below 100 until mile marker 100,  By 120 it had dropped to 97 and 87 by marker 150 (Hazleton).   :eek2:

Saw some NASTY looking storms moving eastward across the Poconos.  I thought 2 yrs ago was bad, can do without that next year thanks.

Damn, Richard Cranium is back!

If it is him it's either the new and improved version or the meds have finally kicked in.

BTW, he was at the tent yesterday. Nice guy and come to find out he lives fairly close to me.
